Black To Front

Commissioned by Renaissance Studioto direct and design the set for Channel 4 Black To Front bonus content. Black To Front was a day of programming featuring Black presenters, actors, writers and experts, contributors, and programme-makers. As a part of C4’s ongoing commitment to improve Black representation on-screen and more widely in the TV industry.

The inspiration was contemporary opulence. Creating a rich yet minimalist set design that celebrated the guests and kept them at the forefront. The design direction was inspired by a quote from Solange Knowles
